WildCAT Precision Measurements has 20 years of optical alignment (mechanical surveying) experience. WildCAT’s measurement activities are extremely varied. The company cut its teeth on precise optical measurement services and over the years the company has attained a reputation for being able to find innovative solutions to clients measurement needs.

The prime industry for survey services has been pulp and paper. From traditional roll alignments to the installation of head boxes, shoe presses and various machine upgrades have been successfully completed. Ancillary equipment such as chip silos, kilns, cranes, truck dumpers have all been worked on.

Optical measurement services have in addition been provided to Oil and Gas, Hydro, aircraft, manufacturing, converting, processing, and mining, to mention additional main stream industries.

Typical optical tooling used are Wild T2000S electronic transits, a Wild N3 precise level, a TDA5005 total station, and the Mancat 3D system.
