Calicheck
All CALICHECKS are done in Montreal. An assessment of the unit is done, and the customer is advised as to the the status and any repairs that need to be done. All major repairs are done in Germany. By having the unit inspected in Montreal gives them direct access to the German head office, resulting in a quicker turnaround for the majority of repairs.
The date of the next calicheck appears on the back of the laser sender unit. Please check when yours is due. It is recommended by Pruftechnik that this check be carried out every two years from the date of purchase of the unit. The calibration of the overall measuring system is checked against traceable, international standards. At the same time, the system is checked for missing components and update of the firmware if required. A new calibration sticker and certificate are included.
